About the project
Oriental fragrance comes with its own rituals, and Asalat Al Oud brings all of them online: Eastern and Western perfumes, oud and fragrant oils, incense, burners and home and fabric sprays. MotqanTech crafted a perfume store ecommerce design in Egypt that captures the luxury of opening a bottle of genuine oud.
The brief
The store had to bring together very different products, from personal scents to home incense burners, without feeling cluttered. It also needed a prominent stage for the seasonal campaigns that drive fragrance retail.
What we delivered
- An announcement bar for offers like Buy 2 Get 1 Free, plus phone, email and social icons.
- A rich brown header with gold logo, login, EGP cart total and search.
- Navigation for Perfumes, Oud & Oriental Oils, Incense, Burners and All Products.
- A wide White Friday hero banner featuring the brand's room-spray collection.
- A shop-by-category grid of six photo cards, including Deals & Discounts and Home & Fabric Fresheners, each with a product count.
Design & user experience
The palette comes straight from the product: dark brown like agarwood and gold that echoes the bottle ornamentation, all on a clean white canvas that lets photography shine. Category cards have rounded corners and close-up imagery, reflowing neatly on mobile, with a menu that stays within thumb's reach.
The outcome
Visitors get a refined first impression and a direct route to what they came for, whether a perfume for themselves or incense for the home, with visible offers nudging them to complete the order.
