About the project
Emad Afandi is an Egyptian coffee brand with a range spanning Turkish coffee, flavoured French coffee, cappuccino, coffee mix and green coffee. Our goal for this coffee e-commerce store design was simple: make visitors almost smell the beans. MotqanTech went with a dark, premium look led by the brand's dramatic "Coffee of the Dragon" campaign, a Turkish coffee tin framed by fire and iron.
The brief
The brand leans on striking packaging and lots of variants: tins, bags and sachets in multiple flavours and sizes. The store had to show that packaging off, help shoppers land on the right type and flavour fast, and keep pace with campaigns and offers.
What we delivered
- A "Shop by category" row with four photo cards: Turkish, French, cappuccino and coffee mix.
- Promo banners for the "5 flavours in one box" cappuccino and coffee-mix packs.
- A latest-products carousel with clear prices in Egyptian pounds and gold add-to-cart buttons.
- A "Picked for you" section with tabs for flavoured, Turkish, hazelnut and green coffee.
- A brand story block with an embedded YouTube video and social links.
- Customer login, wishlist, search, a floating WhatsApp button, policy pages and a blog.
Design & user experience
Black backgrounds with gold and beige accents give the shop a specialty-café feel, while white product cards make each tin pop. The top navigation links straight to every coffee type plus offers and discounts, and bold Arabic typography stays readable on the dark theme. It all scales neatly to mobile without losing the premium mood.
The outcome
Emad Afandi now has a store that matches its bold brand personality, presents products in a way that invites purchase and shortens the journey from curiosity to cart. A stronger online identity and smooth browsing across types and flavours.
