About the project
A name like Yaqout — "ruby" — calls for a certain polish, and that set the direction from day one. This consulting company website design was created for a Muscat-based firm offering end-to-end operational solutions: consulting and feasibility studies, design, set-up, execution, management and supervision, plus custom software for restaurants, cafés and delivery apps.
The brief
Yaqout works across fields that can look unrelated at first glance — hospitality, design and technology — so the site had to bring them together under one clear umbrella. With addresses in both Muscat and Riyadh and contact numbers for more than one country, it also needed to help each visitor reach the right office without confusion.
What we delivered
- A sunset hero featuring an Omani-style landmark, the company name and the tagline "integrated software and design solutions".
- A services section with three image cards: hospitality and tourism programmes in Oman, consulting and design (AutoCAD and 3D), and software — websites, apps and digital marketing.
- A top bar listing several contact numbers, each marked with its country flag.
- Navigation with a services dropdown, portfolio and contact pages, and a language option.
- Floating WhatsApp buttons and a dark footer with company summary, Muscat and Riyadh addresses, quick links and social icons.
Design & user experience
Gold, drawn from the gemstone logo, carries the top bar, subheadings and accents, set against an ivory services section and a charcoal footer that makes it glow. A small ornamental flourish under headings and notched section edges add a sense of luxury without excess. The service cards overlap a white title box onto large imagery, a pattern that stays clear when the cards stack on mobile.
The outcome
Yaqout now has a cohesive site that presents a diverse offer as one brand, reflects its premium positioning and gives clients in different countries a direct line to the team.
